Learning from North Broad

 

 

The project, Learning from North Broad Street, will allow the Study Team to explore the many venues of North Broad Street, including its history, architectural artifacts and landmarks and simultaneously acquaint the Team with the numerous communities within North Philadelphia.

The study will culminate in a website that delineates the many hidden dimensions of the Street. The website, accessible to the general public, will be accessed via QR cell phone codes on all major transit routes in Philadelphia.

 

 

The website will acquaint the general public with the potential vitality of North Broad Street, as well as encourage visits to landmarks within North Philadelphia - rewarding the learning experience with locally crafted collectable transit passes and a crafted container for the collectables. Through the process of engaging and learning about North Broad Street, the Street will become once again a significant landmark within the City with new economic vitality.
